Default Solid General PvE Build

This is the basic PvE build that I have been working on for a while. It's substitutable, works for most everybody, and is pretty easy/fun to use.

D/*

Attributes
Scythe Mastery: 15 (12+3)
Mysticism: 11 (10+1)
Earth Prayers: 9 (8 +1)

skills
Sunspear Rebirth Signet

Chilling Victory

Rending Sweep
((Reccommended Switches: Eremite's Attack (d), good if you know you're rushing into some huge mob groups))

Mystic Sweep

Avatar of Melandru (elite) *
((Reccommended switches: Wild Blow (w), other Avatars (d), Mirage Cloak (d) ))

Mystic Regeneration
((Reccommended switches: Crippling Sweep (d). Good for taking down those little running buggers))

Vital Boon

Faithful Intervention
((Reccommended Switches: Watchful Intervention (d), If you think you might get hit that low, than having this enchantment is probably better for you ))

use
Cast FI at the beginning of the zone. Recast as needed. Maintain VB right before battle and going into battle. For large mobs (4+) you would want to use AoM if you have it. MS and CV should be your primary attacks, especially if you're using 2+ enchantments (2 is a minimum reccomendation w/ this build) and both of these do very good damage to foes lvls 20-24, which is in general Kournan zones. I have yet to test this in Vabbi. If a mage foe you're going against runs, or something else does for some reason, this is where CS comes into play. I find it pretty useful even for it's seemingly specialized description. Eremite's Attack is usually good for use on Patrols and such, because bowman and guards tend to clump together.

Notes
This build works GREAT in the challenge mission for Kourna. It also works very well with Wild Blow (just tested minutes ago sorry to kinda ninja Crazy Horse's idea from http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10073556) against bowman and other random stance using enemies. Otherwise, AoMelandru is my favorite skill and reccomendation for this build.

This is intended as just an all-around-use PvE build and not to be the next "uber-build" or anything. Just something to work with for people looking for something solid just starting on the mainland. The only skill that you couldn't get from a trader is Melandru, but that is just outside in the center of Marga Coast, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

C&C are welcome.

Happy hunting!

^ i would add mystic regen instead of one of the attack skills. Those regen arrows really help

Because of the 10s regen on chilling victory, maybe taking out crippling sweep would be better for replacing w/ mystic regen.

Although, looking over the skill again, I originally thought it was just +1 or +3 maxed out. Having +6 regen or even +9 for 20s would DEFINETELY help. Amending now :-) Thanks Evls!

Yeah, mystic regen is ridiculously overpowered. Having max +10 regen all the time with those crazy tanking enchantments makes you feel quite invulnerable in pve.

Updated the build a bit, switched around a few skills and things. Also looking for more input, so I guess you could call this a mini-bump :-S.
